Building and Extending Skills Training (BEST) Project
This project aims to assist the Government of Jordan in its efforts to reform the TVET system to be more responsive to the changing socio-economic environment, as well as to enhance the Government of Jordan’s (GOJ) institutions’ capacity to identify and respond to changing labour market demands, based principally on employer and private sector needs. This purpose clearly belongs to Jordan’s National Agenda – a 10-year development strategy – and the latest Kuluna Al-Urdon (We are All Jordan) initiative which seeks to address unequal economic development and poverty issues. The project staff was small in number but worked through partners such as the Ministy of Labour, NGOs, employers, etc.
